IFB/GC/FY25-01: Auction of Vehicles

INVITATION FOR BIDS #: GC-FY25-01: AUCTION OF VEHICLES

Global Communities, Ghana acting on behalf of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is auctioning the vehicles below with the officially registered numbers by requesting for bids from interested members of the public.

The vehicles have reserved prices and if the highest bid for any of the vehicles is not equal to or above the reserved price of the vehicle, it will be re-advertised and opened to the public.

The general public is invited to the auction of used vehicles in Ghana.

The vehicles will be displayed for viewing at Global Communities Parking Lot during the week of June 03 to 10, 2025 between the hours of 10.00 A.M. and 3.00 P.M. at No.7, Tripoli Street, East Legon, near MJ Grand Hotel.

The auction is on an ‘as is’ basis.

Interested bidders should note that the Assessed Customs Duty has not been paid and so the successful bidder has the responsibility of paying the Customs Duty of the bid vehicle upon selection.

Submission of completed bids proposal form and all supporting documents including Bid Security (Bank Cash Pay-in/ Deposit Slip) in softcopy closes at 2:00 P.M. on June 10, 2025. Interested bidders should submit their bids to: [email protected]

Bids will be opened at the Parking Lot of Global Communities at 2.30 P.M. on June 10, 2025 in the presence of all bidders present and the winner shall be declared there and then.

Each bidder is required to make a security deposit of GHC15,000.00 for each bid of vehicle made. The amount should be paid into the account details provided below and evidence must be attached to the bid submission form:

If a bid is accepted and the successful bidder refuses to pay the bid price within the stipulated time, the security deposit would not be refunded, and he/she will forfeit the right to buy the said vehicle as well.

Note: In Auctions, In the event the winner decides not to complete the transaction, the deposit is automatically forfeited.

Please note that, the successful bidder has a maximum of two days after close of bid, to pay in full the bid price to take ownership of the vehicle. Refusal to meet the deadline will amount to a forfeiture of your bid and the security deposit.
